Engagement, Sustainability, and Adaptation take center stage

At certain times throughout the year, and always in a new American city, Library Journal (renown library publication) hosts Design Institutes bringing leading library architects to share and workshop ways to make the best of our buildings.

Last week, LJ recapped the 2017 Design Institute held at Ft. Vancouver Community Library in Vancouver, WA. Panels on Community Concepts, Sustainable Substance, and Adapting & Evolving (on which G4 principal David Schnee participated) accompanied a series of design challenge workshops – all working toward better library spaces that can meet today’s and tomorrow’s community needs.
