MASTER PLANNING
We have developed unique and effective techniques and tools that inform our work and create master plans responsive to the unique communities they will serve. Regardless of the size of the service area or the number of facilities contemplated, we use an interactive process that not only strongly incorporates broad-based input into the development of the plan, but also builds support for plan recommendations.
Planning tools and graphic presentation materials that we use to collect and analyze community information include user surveys, public meetings, mapping of service areas and library use patterns, and graphic presentation of library service needs and facility issues. We are highly skilled in the use of GIS to inform the planning process, and the maps that we create for our master plans are very informative in showing how actual use may vary from planned service areas.
"Their product is of incredible quality. Every time I talk with other libraries that need a master plan I always recommend Group 4."
