INTERIORS AND FF&E
Group 4's in-house interior design group ensures that our projects’ interiors meet our commitment to design excellence for public architecture. By focusing on public projects, we have been able to build a knowledge base that allows us to integrate interior design at the early stages of each project and to develop and manage realistic furniture, fixture, and equipment budgets.
Our interior designers become involved at the early phases of projects, developing the functional requirements and principal design themes, and setting realistic budgets. We prepare furniture and equipment lists, select finishes, create the space plan, and prepare the FF&E budget. We also create a schedule for procurement so that the furniture arrives when needed for installation. As the project moves forward, we develop the contract documents for bidding or purchasing through state programs. Our involvement continues through installation, post opening reviews, and troubleshooting.
"Right from the beginning, Group 4 worked effectively with our community and city leadership to deliver a world class library for our city."
