WAYNE GEHRKE AIA LEED - Principal

Wayne is one of the original partners who founded Group 4 in 1974. More than three decades later, the firm continues to contribute to the community fabric throughout California. One of the things about Group 4 he is proud of is that “the practice never loses sight of the importance of improving the communities we work with.”

Wayne’s experience and dedication to interactive community-based planning for public architecture is widely acknowledged. He is the recipient of many awards, and has spoken on planning and design before the American Institute of Architects, the Friends and Foundations of California Libraries, the California Park and Recreation Society, and the California Library Association.
